The Accessible Quality Healthcare (AQH) project contracted ARS to implement the Quality of Care (QoC) Study 2018 in all (38) municipalities of Kosovo with more than 3,500 questionnaires. The objectives of the study were to: establish a baseline on the quality of health services in 26 municipalities, addressing structural and procedural aspects; establish an endline on the quality of health services in 12 municipalities to monitor the indicators from the logical framework and to identify the impact of AQH activities on the quality of care; compare aspects of health quality between urban vs. rural health facilities across 38 municipalities; provide information to what degree health providers have infrastructure and consumables available as outlined in the primary health care norms, and; provide data on patient satisfaction at primary health care centres. The survey tools used included: assessment of infrastructure of primary health care facilities, clinical observations of doctor-patient interactions, and patient interviews when exiting the facility.
